Between 2003 and 2005, China's gas industry grew at an average annual rate of 65%, compared with the global average of 12%. The total output value of industrial gas in 2007 is 50 billion yuan, and the demand will increase by 10% every year. It is estimated that the total output value in 2016 will reach 100 billion yuan.
